Oskars Redbergs

Oskars Redbergs, Dr.-Ing.(Brand.TU hons.), M.A.(Städelschule), Msc. Architect (Riga TU).His main research focus is on Urban Heritage planning and Conservation in post-socialist cities. Title of his dissertation: ‘Transformation Projects of Historic Urban Structure and Architecture in the Historic Centre of Riga (HCR) Territory of the (UNESCO) World Heritage Site, since 1997’. Within the framework of the research the ICOMOS Guidelines are used for the assessment of the impacts of transformation projects implemented in the territory of HCR on the attributes conveying the value of certain parts of the territory both on a scale of architecture and urban environment.
